Been a while since I have made one of these, eh?

I just need to put this out there before I say anything else: The Metal Gear Solid theme is epic. If I had my own country, this song, or at least everything after 2:40 into it, would be the national anthem. You should listen to it if you get the chance, preferably at wall-shaking volume.

Okay, I guess I may be a LITTLE obssessed with Metal Gear Solid- but it IS a great video game series!

Anyway, I went to Florida a few weekends ago, when we had a Monday off. The weather was hot and humid; I guess they were breaking heat records when we were there TT~TT. Of course, my mom hated it, but I got somewhat used to it. It sucked when we had to come back to cold weather though! We only went to Disneyworld for a day, at Magic Kingdom, which wasn't bad, except Space Mountain was closed! Apparently it has been closed all summer too, but it's supposed to open this winter. Maybe it will be awesomer?? It's too bad we didn't go to Epcot, but I've been to Disneyworld before, so I wasn't really missing out on anything, and we at least got to hang out at Downtown Disney for a while. It was a pretty cool way to spend the weekend.

School has been okay for me so far. Haven't had too much homework (good), but I've barely prepared for college (bad). I really need to get that stuff sorted out, and my yearbook stuff too. I tried e-mailing it to the school, but it seems their firewall picks random e-mail address to block each year, since I've never had any problems with it before.

I also made a website and put it on the internet. However, I am having issues connecting to the FTP server (it seems very temperamental...*sigh*) and I can't seem to set my home page as the index page for the server. Hopefully I can figure it out without breaking all my links... Once I put it up though, I'll probably work on revising it, as I'm not very happy with the current layout.

Finally got the sewing machine from Pittsburgh, too. Right now, I'm not as concerned with finding/making the dress as I am with the sandals. It's was already hard enough to find them in the summer, but now that it's winter, I'll have no chance... I'm almost wondering if I should make my own! Anyway, If any of you guys are willing to keep an eye out for sandals in thrift stores and stuff, look for blue or light-colored sandals similar or at least alter-able to Namine's. I wear size 8 BTW, but you could probably look at 8 1/2's too (with sandals you can be a little flexible on the size).

Right now, I am just chilling at home, just me and the cat, since Mom and are at an open-house for a college, and my step-dad is always working... I've just been on the computer all day... Ha, ha, I only woke up at noon, but it was somewhat justified since I stayed up until 1 am (curse you, Psycho Mantis!)
